  • Clinical Procedures:

    • Performing thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar. 

    • Taking dental x-rays and developing them. 

    • Assessing gum health and identifying signs of periodontal disease. 

    • Applying fluoride treatments

    • Taking patient medical history and updating relevant information 

  • Patient Education:

    • Demonstrating proper brushing and flossing techniques 

    • Counseling patients on diet and lifestyle choices that impact oral health 

    • Providing information about oral hygiene products and their use 

    • Addressing patient concerns and questions related to oral health 

  • Documentation and Communication:

    • Accurately charting patient findings and treatment provided 

    • Communicating with the dentist regarding patient conditions and treatment plans 

    • Maintaining patient records and scheduling follow-up appointments
