Our family-friendly dental office (located in the Portland/Beaverton area off of highway 217) is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Dental Assistant. Looking for someone who has great chair-side manners, is a team player, and is adaptable.
This role will be heavily focused in doing root-canals type of procedures.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Patient preparation: Greeting patients, taking medical histories, recording vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort in the dental chair.
Treatment room setup: Preparing treatment areas by sterilizing instruments, setting up trays with necessary tools, and mixing dental materials.
Chairside assisting: Passing instruments to the dentist during procedures, maintaining suction, and assisting with dental impressions.
Radiography: Taking and processing dental X-rays under dentist supervision
