This temporary position is for a general dentistry hygienist to provide routine prophylactic hygiene treatment to healthy patients and to provide treatment for early and moderate periodontally involved patients with scaling and root planning.
We are a well-established, family dental practice providing all types of general and cosmetic dentistry to all ages of patients. We firmly believe in developing trusting relationships with our patients and providing them with any comforts that will make their experience positive. Many of our patients have been with us for generations. Smiles on Sandy is privately owned by brothers Dr. Jon and Dr. Brett Daby.
Our practice is located in our newly completed addition to our existing building. This is a state-of-the-art dental office building located on a Sandy Blvd, drawing patients and staff from throughout the metro area.
Hygienist to provide routine prophylactic hygiene treatment to healthy patients and to provide treatment for early and moderate periodontally involved patients with scaling and root planning. We offer the option of nitrous oxide for anxiolysis and would prefer that hygienists have a nitrous certificate, although this is not required. Hygienists record the exam done by the dentist in the clinical note and take digital x-rays on patients when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have:
-Two years experience (flexible based on work ethic and learning aptitude)
-current RDH certificate in Oregon
-current nitrous certificate in Oregon preferred (not required)
-Dentrix experience preferred (not required)
