We are seeking a skilled and professional Dental Hygienist to fill an open chair in our Dunnellon Office. The ideal candidate will be proficient in providing comprehensive dental hygiene care and possess excellent patient communication skills.
Role Requirements:
Conduct thorough oral examinations and assess patients' dental health.
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and root planning.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive dental care.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides to help protect teeth.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Collaborate effectively with dentists and other team members to ensure optimal patient care.
Valid FL Dental Hygienist license.
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
Proficiency in dental software and digital radiography.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.
