Patient care: Welcoming patients, preparing them for treatment, and ensuring their comfort
Chairside assistance: Assisting the dentist during procedures, such as through four-handed dentistry
Recordkeeping: Maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, and tracking treatment plans
Instrument preparation: Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment, and setting up instrument trays for the dentist
Treatment room preparation: Stocking and cleaning treatment rooms
X-rays and impressions: Taking X-rays and dental impressions
Dental hygiene: Providing dental hygiene instructions
Lab tasks: Performing other lab tasks as needed
