Fountain Valley Dental is looking for a FULLTIME EFDA Dental Assistant who is passionate about dentistry, serving others, and possesses strong organizational skills. Dr. Ben Whitted leads and partners with his dental assistants to provide best care to his team and patients. Our practice is truly a team culture with a team that supports each other. Dr. Ben has 3 assistants on his clinical team which allows each assistant to spend quality time with each patient. If you are someone who works well with multiple assistants and loves a variety of different types of appointments this maybe the practice for you.

Experience & Qualifications:
1. EFDA and X-ray Certifications (Required)
* Digital X-rays and Intra oral photos
* CT scan & Pano
* Sensors
2. Chairside Assisting
* Organized with treatment room setups
* managing appointment time
* building relationships with patients
3. Treatment Planning
* Strong is organizing larger treatment plans
* Communicate treatment recommendations provided by Dr. Ben
4. Practice Software Dentrix
* Organizing Treatment Plans
* Clinical notes
* Digital x-rays
* Scheduling patients next visits
* Checkout flow with partnering with front office
Quality in applicant:
Works well with other team members

Organized with managing time
Ability to facilitate treatment plans and schedule patients
Dependable, on time to work, strong work ethic
Position Requirements:
Practice Days are Monday - Friday
Position is full time with a weekly schedule of 4 days.
Practice Hours 8:00 - 5:00 with opening by 7:30am, and closing by 5:30pm.
Must be able to work a min of 32 - 40 hours per week.
