Provide preventative oral care under a dentist supervision, clean patients teeth and examine their mouth for signs of damage, gingivitis and other diseases. Teach patients how to maintain good oral health. Remove tartar, stains and plaque from teeth. Take dental x-rays, assess patients oral

health and report findings to dentists. Document patient care and treatment plans.

Diploma in Dental Hygiene; Masters is a plus

Valid license to practice

Outstanding communication skills

A patient and friendly personality

In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession

Attention to detail

Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
