We are seeking a temp dental hygienist to cover a few days. We are a single doctor fee for service/out of network practice. We have a laid back, but professional culture. There is potential for a long term sub position on Thursdays if interested.
Perform thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and conducting oral examinations.
Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical coding standards.
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Take medical imaging (X-rays) as needed to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
