- Must have active FL License
-Patient Assessment: Conducting initial assessments of patients oral health, including reviewing medical history and taking vital signs.
- Cleaning Teeth: Removing plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth through professional cleanings (prophylaxis) using specialized tools.
- Fluoride Treatments: Applying fluoride treatments to help strengthen teeth and prevent cavities.
- Sealant Application: Applying dental sealants to protect the surfaces of teeth, particularly molars, from decay.
- Patient Education: Educating patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques, as well as overall oral hygiene practices
- X-Rays: Taking dental radiographs (X-rays) and interpreting results for diagnosis.
- Treatment Planning: Collaborating with dentists to develop treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Infection Control: Following infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate patient records, including health history, treatment provided, and progress notes
