Temporary Dental Hygienist at a Private Practice
dental hygienist needed in BEAVERTON, OR starting March 26, 2025
We have an excellent team in place who is focused on exceptional patient care. Our team includes a hygiene assistant. We are looking for a temporary hygienist who has the skills and desire to work at the same level of care as our providers. Single column scheduling, standard prophylaxis/periodontal maintenance appointment time is 1 hour. The office uses Eaglesoft dental software.

Greet patients
Review and update patient medical history
Take patient vitals
Periodontal charting
Perform appropriate hygiene service for patient; FMD, SRP, PM and Prophy
Diagnose and recommend appropriate treatment; Gingivitis/Periodontitis
Co-Diagnose restorative conditions
Patient education: Oral instruction as well as demonstrating proper techniques of brushing and flossing.
Apply fluoride
Take X-rays
Provide post-procedure instruction as needed
electronic charting and documentation for all patients treated
appoint patient for next appointment(s)
Turn room over and process tray through sterilization, when hygiene assistant is not available.
staying on schedule is important
If certified, provide local anesthetic and/or Nitrous Oxide when necessary
Eaglesoft Experience preferred
