We have an opening at Leavenworth Dental for a full time RDA, or some temporary support as we search for the right person! We are a small but upbeat and busy practice in a beautiful mountain location. We have 1 doctor with two assistants whose roles include:
Clinical Support: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including but not limited to, restorative, surgical, and exams. Prepare and arrange dental instruments and materials as needed. Provide support to dental hygienists as needed.
Patient Care: Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and answering any questions they may have. Obtain and record patient's dental history and vital signs, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Infection Control and Sterilization: Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, as well as maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
Radiography: Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as per dentist's instructions. Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety measures are followed.
Educational Support: Instruct patients on oral care practices, post-operative care, and preventive measures. Educate patients on the importance of maintaining good oral health.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
RDA experience preferred, not necessary.
Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state
