Qualifications and Responsibilities:

-Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene required

-Valid license to practice dental hygiene issued by the State of Oregon

-Provide outstanding customer service for the patient, excellent chair side manner

-Be a great team member willing to help others when in need

-Take radiographs including FMX, Pano, CBCT (digital)

-Take photos (intraoral)

-Review patient charts and medical history and record appropriate patient data during exam and treatment (transcribed into patient electronic chart)

-Perio chart at regularly prescribed intervals and make adjustments to patients' treatment recommendations as needed

-Set-up and breakdown operatories

-Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment and treatment rooms.

-Educate patients (answer necessary questions and postoperative instructions as prescribed by the Dentist)

-Schedule recall appointments and help reactivate patients through phone calls and text messaging

-Be willing to participate in community events

-Participate in daily morning huddles to assess as a group how to achieve the goals of the office
