Job Overview

We are in need of a temporary or permanent part time Hygienist at my beautiful state of the art Evanston location. Fridays and Saturdays from 8-2 pm. If you like to smile, have a warm happy personality, are punctual and reliable...we are looking for you!!!!

Role Responsibilities

You will generally have these Roles and Responsibilities:

Update electronic health records
Conduct extra oral and intra oral examination
Use oral pathology screening tools
Record periodontal findings
Complete radiographs and dental impressions
Work with treating doctor to Identify conditions, including gingivitis, periodontitis, and restorative needs
Provide patient-centered oral health education
Offer post-operative instructions
Document treatment in electronic records
Follow infection control and OSHA standards for disinfection and sterilization of spaces and armamentarium
Provide optimal patient care with a smile.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from a CODA Accredited Program
Active Illinois dental hygiene license
Outstanding communication skills
Outgoing and compassionate personality
Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Experience working with Eaglesoft Software
