  • Review daily schedule and complete daily audit

  • Conduct a thorough review of patient’s health and dental history forms

  • Utilizing Dentrix, accurately chart each patient’s periodontal health and dental conditions for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist

  • Take radiographs of patients as prescribed by dentist

  • Perform thorough and gentle prophylaxis to patients

  • Perform scaling, root planing and polishing for patients

  • Administer local anesthetics using guidelines established by this practice

  • Apply cavity-preventive agents, such as fluorides and sealants

  • Take intraoral camera photos to aid in patient education

  • Communicate with patients in an understandable and professional way

  • Counsel patients on oral health, including oral hygiene techniques and nutrition

  • Schedule recare appointments with efficiency


  • Valid state license as a Dental Hygienist

  • CPR certification

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality care

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
