Our office hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 8am-5pm, Tuesdays and Fridays 8am-2pm.

Pay is hourly. Pay is every two weeks on Thursdays. Possible monthly bonuses. IRA. Scrubs are provided.

We are looking for front desk personnel able to act as a financial coordinator where needed within the current staffing, cross-training where necessary to help ensure the office runs smoothly.


The financial coordinator is the backbone of the front desk team, ensuring that patients understand their financial obligations and the timeline for payment. They work closely with patients, the clinical team, and the appointment coordinator to facilitate a seamless experience and commitment to a payment plan. The financial coordinator sets the tone for discussions about finances and dental benefits. They provide a calm and warm environment for patients who are otherwise anxious and concerned about “how to afford dentistry.” You may also be responsible for some internal accounting duties that support the practice’s goals for profitability. Expectations are:

  • Research dental benefits and prepare estimates on treatment diagnosed prior to discussing financial arrangements.
  • If the patient is returning for a consultation, provide this information to the doctor prior to discussing financial arrangements.
  • Determine the patient’s dental benefits carrier and patient’s share of cost.
  • Document basic dental benefits information for quick reference.
  • Determine dental benefits eligibility, limitations, and payment estimates.
  • Educate patients regarding dental benefits, their responsibility, and basic terminology.
  • Fully utilize online opportunities that provide information regarding patient’s insurance.

We are looking for a team player willing to learn and able to step in to help with a cheerful disposition. You will be expected to help the team with:

  • Confirm appointments
  • Verify insurance for scheduled patients
  • Verify benefits and x-ray history for new patients
  • Answer the phone on the first ring
  • Cancel and reschedule appointments
  • Collect for patients at check in
  • Verifying address and phone number on file
  • Make sure lobby and restroom are presentable for next day at the end of each day
  • Restock paper and ink in printer
  • Answer emails, attached any documents to the patient charts
  • Prepare operatory notes for next day
  • Prepare consents and post-operative instructions for next day
  • Lock computer in consult room, turn off lamp and television in lobby
  • Statement stuffing
  • Help with referrals
  • Scanning of EOBs
  • Shredding
