We’re in search of MN Licensed Dental Hygienist who are committed to educating and advocating for their patients while providing the treatment they need and deserve. You will work collaboratively with doctor to deliver high-quality care and positive patient experiences. We provide all the tools necessary for you to have a positive and supportive environment here at Dental South PA. We use Open Dental Software as well as Dentrix for radiographs.
We offer off street parking for employees (in the back of our building). We have a break room which includes a full sized refrigerator, cook top, microwave oven, as well as toaster oven. You will be given a one-hour lunch break from 12:00-1:00. We also have a separate rest room for our employees. We are close to many restaurants as well as a grocery store.
- Counseling patients and keeping them calm during examination and treatment
- Screening patients, including conducting mouth and neck examinations and reviewing oral health history
- Educating patients on proper teeth and gum care and the importance of diet on oral health
- Taking X-rays and developing dental impressions and radiographs of teeth
- Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
- Removing plaque, cleaning teeth and helping to prevent gum disease
- Supporting the Dentist on all aspects of dental care
- Staying current with the latest developments in dentistry
- Collecting medical and dental histories from patients
- Charting dental conditions based on observations and evaluations
