Dental Hygienist Needed In Chicago, IL Starting February 27, 2023

Registered Dental Hygienists report directly to the Practice Manager and work in a highly collaborative setting with other team members. We’re a small, close-knit leadership team, so you can expect a lot of variation and flexibility. You will generally have these Roles and Responsibilities:

·        Update electronic health records

·        Conduct extra oral and intra oral examination

·        Use oral pathology screening tools

·        Record periodontal findings

·        Complete radiographs and dental impressions

·        Work with treating doctor to Identify conditions, including gingivitis, periodontitis, and restorative needs

·        Perform other identified procedures

·        Provide patient-centered oral health education

·        Offer post-operative instructions

·        Document treatment in electronic records

·        Follow infection control and OSHA standards for disinfection and sterilization of spaces and armamentarium

·        Monitor materials and supplies

·        Provide optimal patient care
