Full Job Description

The Dental Practice Manager is responsible for the overall operation and management of the dental practice. They will oversee the administrative and clinical aspects of the practice, ensuring that it is running efficiently and effectively. They will also be responsible for managing a team of dental professionals, including dental assistants, hygienists, and front office staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operation of the dental practice, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing and financial matters
  • Supervise and mentor a team of dental professionals, including dental assistants, hygienists, and front office staff
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the practice
  • Manage the practice budget and financial performance, including analyzing and interpreting financial data and making recommendations for improvement
  • Communicate with dental suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure the practice has the necessary equipment and supplies
  • Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients, including handling customer service issues and complaints
  • Collaborate with the dental team to develop and implement marketing and outreach initiatives to attract new patients and retain existing ones
  • Attend continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in dental practice management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in financial management and analysis
  • Knowledge of dental industry regulations and best practices
  • Proficiency in computer software, including dental practice management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
