We are in need of a temporary Hygienist at beautiful Lakeview area of Chicago, with 2 General Dentists, Pedo, Ortho, and Perio. Loyal patient base with a friendly and professional team. Your warm friendly demeanor will fit right in with our patients and team members. We utilize Dentrix software.

General Roles and Responsibilities


  • Use oral pathology screening tools
  • Conduct extra and intra oral examination
  • Update electronic Health Records
  • Record periodontal findings
  • Complete radiographs and dental impressions
  • Work with treating doctor to identify conditions, including gingivitis, periodontitis, and restorative needs
  • Provide patient -centered oral health education
  • Offer post-operative instructions
  • Document treatment in electronic records
  • Follow infection control and OSH standards for disinfection and sterilization of spaces and armamentarium
  • Provide optimal patient care with a smile


Required Qualifications and Skills


  • Associate′ Degree in Dental Hygiene from a CODA Accredited Program
  • Active Illinois Dental Hygiene License
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Outgoing and compassionate personality
  • Strong attention to detail
