Dental Assistant Job Description and position responsibilities:

As our Dental Assistant, you’ll be the first friendly face our patients see- so we’ll want you to greet them with a warm welcome before you take them to their treatment room. That’s where you’ll document both their dental and medical history and take any additional notes the dentist may need.

Position Requirements:

·         Chair-side Assisting (at least two years’ experience preferred).

·         The ability to communicate dental procedures and terminology clearly and effectively.

·         The capability to take excellent x-rays, impressions, and make temporaries for crown and bridges.

·         Demonstrate flexibility, especially in stressful situations, and maintain a positive attitude.

·         Maintain patient confidentially through HIPAA compliance.

·         Assist with other duties to help office and team as needed such as treatment follow up calls, recare calls, filling schedule, appointment follow up, stocking, ordering supplies.

·         Sterilizes and disinfects instruments, equipment, and operatory to meet OSHA regulations.

·         Prepares treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures.

·         Greets and prepares patients for treatment.

·         Actively participates in the achievement of patient satisfaction of office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service.

Training: We will provide additional training support after hire to setup you up for success.

 

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position 30-40 hours, Monday through Friday (Friday’s alternating off).

No weekends. Opportunity to add hours within company at other locations.
