We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Temporary Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team during a maternity leave period. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough dental hygiene assessments and develop treatment plans.
Administer dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing with a gentle touch.
Educate patients on best oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Collaborate seamlessly with the dentist during procedures when needed.
Maintain precise patient records and treatment notes.
Strictly adhere to infection control and sterilization protocols.
Work cohesively with our dental team to ensure an outstanding patient journey.
Position Details:
Type: Temporary (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Duration: January 9 – May 9, 2024
Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:45am-5:00pm
Location: 4040 Park Boulevard, Oakland, CA 94602
Qualifications:
Hold a current Registered Dental Hygienist license in California
CPR certification for your patients safety.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency with dental software and digital X-rays is advantageous.
Demonstrated dedication to patient care and empathy.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality care.
Prior dental hygiene experience is preferred but not mandatory.
